Description

The Chinese Association for Science and Technology, U.S.A., or CAST-USA, is a non-profit professional organization that consists of mostly Chinese staff in Science and Technology in the U.S. The organization is hosting an event to launch its new South Florida chapter on Saturday, September 17th at the Boca Raton Marriott at Boca Center. 

With over 8,000 members, CAST-USA has 21 chapters in the U.S. and 18 Offices in China.  CAST-SFL focuses its mission in South Florida and it hopes to empower business with new technology, to supply human resources, to help development in science, technologies and engineering, to increase the employment in U.S. and to improve the levels of the enterprises which want to develop local economy.

This event features some of the top scientists and investors, both locally and from abroad, as speakers.  The event also includes a pitch competition.  The winners from this event will join CAST-USA in Utah on October 14th-16th to compete for $10,000 and the opportunity to present to US and international investors.
